On behalf of our Vice Chairman Alan Endacott and the Executive Committee we would all like to give sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the Dartmoor Society during 2019.
It has been a very busy year with our Chairman of 21 years, Dr Tom Greeves, standing down in April and our usual attendance at the Summer Fairs of Chagford and Widecombe taking place.
Added to that we hosted our two hugely successful flagship events – the Debate in October and the Research Lecture in November.
We would like to take this opportunity of wishing everyone sincere compliments of the Season and we are all looking forward to seeing you next year when we have another comprehensive line up of events prepared for you which we hope you will find fulfilling on both an intellectual and an emotional level.
